Audition Info

• This is not an Audition Only workshop. Any child desiring to participate in the workshop can do so simply with registration and payment. The purpose of these auditions is for selection and placement of solos and ensembles within the workshop Showcase.
• This audition is how we will choose soloists for main numbers, and arrange cast members into various groups for songs. We do take them seriously, but at the same time, we try to keep them fun and comfortable so it is not a scary or stressful experience. :-)
• Please prepare 2 minutes of a Broadway Show Tune of your choice that will demonstrate singing ability, volume, range, diction, and characterization. (If you don't know a Show Tune, chose a song from a movie, school, church, or whatever you feel confident about.)
• Please bring an accompaniment track, or a copy of the sheet music for the accompanist to play on the piano. (2 copies if the song is not memorized.)
